Meet Anna

From a very early age, I have loved expressing myself through creativity. It was not until my 20s that I discovered a passion for baking and was able to consolidate my art and design qualifications with my love for cake.

And then came another layer to my passion: Veganism. By definition, according to the Vegan Society, “Veganism is a way of living which seeks to exclude, as far as is possible and practicable, all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose.” We live in a world where people still believe that being vegan means missing out on the amazing foods the world has to offer us.

However, this is no longer true! Vegan cakes are increasingly popular and the rise of veganism has ensured this. We have an abundance of resources that replace traditional animal-based ingredients allowing us to enjoy what we are used to without harm to animals and the environment.

I became a plant-based towards the end of 2016 primarily for health reasons, but the more I became involved in it, the more my reasons shifted to ethics. Now, I proudly call myself an ethical vegan.

As a self-taught cake designer, baker, and decorator, I have developed the discipline and dedication to produce intricate designs based on my clients’ requirements. Before even setting foot in the kitchen, I spend a great deal of time researching, sketching, and planning my creations.
